The cold harsh winter weather is no friend to our lovely soft luscious lips, with thousands of people suffering from sore chapped lips during this chilly season. Fortunately, I don’t suffer from dried or chapped lips, probably because I never give my lips a chance too! I am that lipgloss girl who is forever applying lipgloss and lip balms to my lips no matter the situation! I am an absolute lipgloss freak and I always have been, since I was at least nine years old and discovered flavoured lip balms! Lipgloss is my weakness and saying no to one rarely ever happens! I seriously can’t live without it, I take at least three out with me whenever I leave the house, just in case. No matter who knows me and where from, one of the things they will always remember about me is the lip gloss! Throughout schools, colleges, university, work, parties and clubs, people will remember me for my lipgloss! And if ever one of my sisters or friends wanted to borrow one the answer would be, ‘Sure. Which one do you want to use? I have a red one, orange one, a beige one, nude one, a pink one, candyfloss one, a peppermint one, bubblegum one, a brown one, longlasting one, a 3d one, a velvet one, a glitter one, or a natural one.’ And these were just the ones that I carried around with me in my handbag! So can you imagine my face when I went into my local Poundland store to buy orange dilute and saw these little winter beauties sat on the shelf calling out to me?
My youngest son started walking at a really young age, he was eight months old when he took his first footsteps, so when we go out shopping he sometimes likes to get out of his pram and help me. Today was one of those days where he was pulling the basket along and browsing the shelves for anything and everything to put inside. I showed him these cute little lip balms and asked him which one he thought mummy should buy? He responded by snatching both of the lip balms and putting them in the basket, so both it was!
These peppermint swirl lip balms must be some of the cutest lip balms that I have ever seen in my entire life! Shaped like little baubles, you can hang them on your Christmas tree at home, surprise a friend or loved one by decorating their tree with these alternative baubles or you can simply buy them for yourself and use them as a keyring as I have. They are a nice compact shape and only weight 8g so they don’t make that much difference to your handbag or keychain weight. There is more than enough lip balm in each one to last you for the whole winter season, so bye bye dry chapped lips!
Although they are very different in design I love them both! The snowman is little more festive were as the bird is bright pink and a lot more girly. You know me I love the girly things and all things cute! After testing the lip balms for myself, I can find no fault in them. They taste just as they say like peppermint and they are very easy to use. You can either use your finger to apply a small amount to your lips or you can simply remove the lid and apply it directly to your lips as they have been perfectly shaped to do so, like a rounded pyramid.
If your looking for some stocking fillers for your friends and family, I think these are ideal! They are super cute, efficient, and who doesn’t love a scented lip balm? Furthermore, they are really cheap, at a total price of £1 each! You seriously can’t wrong! Unless the person is, of course, allergic to lip balms! Maybe if you wait a little while longer you might even be able to grab a few in the January sales and get them half price at 50p each! I for one will be keeping a lookout for them and stocking up so I have plenty to last me for the next few winters!
I think these peppermint swirl lip balms are fabulous for women of all ages! I can’t fault the product nor the price so I rate these little cuties a fabulous 5/5 stars.
