These cute little Disney blind bags make the perfect treat for a little princess. They also make a great stocking filler, if you’re struggling with gift ideas. My sisters and I grew up loving Disney films and all things Disney. Every year for Christmas and birthdays we would get something from the much beloved Disney shop. Unfortunately, they never had these Disney blind bags when we were younger, so we would usually have to wait a whole year to receive our next Disney gift.
From the barbies to soft plush toys, mini figures, to playsets we loved all things, Disney. Me, being a girly girl I loved all of the princesses and all of the girly accessories that came with them, even as a grown woman I still do! I know we would have loved these Disney Princess buildable blind bags, and we would have tried to have collected them all and played with them for hours on end, as we did with our other figures. I probably would have done a whole lot more listening to my parents and been better behaved if I’d have had the chance to earn and collect all of these blind bags too!
I do know that not all little girls are into Disney and princesses but there is a large majority who are. Although society is trying to break the mold and escape the stereotypes, there are some males who feel the same way and love Disney and the whole princess/prince fantasy, however, let’s just be honest most males don’t seem to batter an eyelid when it comes to fairytales. They get bored and clearly don’t feel quite the same way as most of us girlies do, especially as they grow into adolescence and lose any interest they may have had when they were younger. Which is a stark contrast to most females, as our love for Disney seems to remain the same no matter how old we are, we will still rock the Disney Pajamas, jewelry, clothes, bags, accessories and more!
I saw these Disney blind bags whilst I was out shopping and I knew that my nieces would love them and some of my son’s female friends at school. They are a great little extra to add to a main present no matter the occasion. Like other blind bags, they also make a good reward for when your little one has had a good week, maybe earned all of their stars on their reward chart or marble jar. I much prefer buying my children blind bags whenever I feel that they have earned one rather than giving them spending money as their just too young to appreciate it.
The Disney Tsum Tsum blind bags are just as fabulous as the Disney buildable Princess ones. Kids love to collect things especially charms so that they can show them off to their friends and family. Personally, I would have loved the buildable figures more than the charms, but I know one of my nieces would love the figure charms a lot more than the buildable figures. Every child is different after all, and in actual fact, I would have wanted them both!
The blind bags make a great incentive for a child to keep doing well and earning rewards. You can buy them in bulk as I have and then put them away and save them until a specific target has been achieved by your child, or you can buy them as and when you feel your child has earned one. I like to stay prepared and keep little gifts at home for when my sons are invited to their friend’s parties. It saves a lot of time, effort and panic in the long run.
Alternatively, they also make a lovely little surprise for a child who you might not have seen in a while. I plan to post some of these to my nieces in a few weeks time just because we live so far away and don’t get to see them that often as we would like. I know they will make a perfect little surprise for them both and the sisters can enjoy and play with them both together as I used to mine.
There is a different amount of collectibles for each set. The Disney buildable Princess blind bags have five different figures in total to collect, which include some of the most popular Disney Princesses, Jasmine, Snowwhite, Ariel, Mulan, and Merida. The figures are quite simple to build and suitable for children aged 3+. The Disney Tsum Tsum charm blind bags have eight figures in total to collect. Tomy release each set of blind bags in series so you can have series one, two, three, four etc which all have a different amount of figures to collect. Again they are suitable for children aged 3+ as each one contains small pieces which a child younger than three may try and swallow.
I think the Disney blind bags are of better quality and better value for money than the surprise egg toys which can be quite feeble. Overall, I love these Disney blind bags produced by Tomy. I think their a lot of fun, very cute and great value for your money. I know my sisters and I would have loved these so much, it’s a shame that we had to grow up and miss out on them! Instead, we can now take joy in watching our children and family members play with them and love them as much as we would have done. The Disney blind bags are available to buy from most toy shops, supermarkets and some high street stores. You can grab one for as little as £1 each, although the prices do vary per shop. I rate the Disney blind bags a stunning 5/5 stars!
